Emergency First Aid at Work
This course is designed to provide all candidates with the confidence and skills required to take charge in case of an accident or illness. This is ideal for emergencies that you hope will not happen in the work place.
The content of this course provides life saving first aid and workplace health and safety regulations, covering the following:
- The role of the first aider
- Fainting
- Managing an emergency
- Health and safety (first aid) regulations
- Communication and casualty care
- Resuscitation (adult CPR)
- Bleeding (minor and severe)
- Seizures (adult)
- Burns
- Shock
- Choking (adult)
- Unconscious casualty
Certification is dependent on successful continuous assessment of the delegate, there is no final examination.
Duration: This is a one day course and certificated is valid for 3 years.
